the Present, Future and Beyond

Fast forward to the end of 2019, it’s my first painting class and I’m on the fence about continuing my major. I had a professor who told me “You have the talent to do both” and that changed the trajectory of my whole career. I persevered and made it to the next semester where I really started to apply myself in Painting II. I got to explore and was challenged with new mediums and ideas. It allowed me to realize I was capable of doing both painting and my major work- interior design. That challenge birthed the works below, showcasing the influence of light and life on one canvas. Life influences my work and my work influences my design; a beautiful cycle paved for me to deepen!
